Census Information

Dundee City Council holds census information for the Dundee area from the Censuses of population, dating from 1971 to 2001.
General information fact sheets for Dundee are available from the Information and Research Team. Copies of old and current Census records are also held at the Central Library in the Wellgate.
The latest report incorporating 2001 Census data 'Population Matters 2004' (528KB PDF) examines past, current and projected change in the population of Dundee City and related matters.
