Deaf People
The Council's telephone system has been programmed to allow the use of a service called 'Typetalk'. If you use a textphone you can contact the Council by phoning Minicom 01382 433310.
People with hearing difficulties are encouraged to use all the facilities available in the Central Library and Community Libraries. The Internet, access to which is available in the Central Library, offer lots of possibilities for communication. The Central Library also has an induction loop facility.
