Dundee City Council provides a high quality educational and social experience for pupils with special educational needs, primarily within mainstream education or in specialised provision if an alternative form of education is required. Provision ranges from extending special support arrangements in ordinary classrooms, through special units or classes in ordinary schools, to separate special schools.
