Public Art

Public art has been part of Dundee's urban environment since 1982. Over 120 artworks are now in situ throughout the city and the Council is actively supporting the development of new works.
The Council provides encouragement to public art projects carried out by the private sector, promotes art in architecture schemes, artworks for public spaces, the involvement of quality crafts in buildings, and public participation in community art projects.
