In order to provide guidelines and policy for determining total land requirements between competing uses, the Council monitors population trends and characteristics.
Current and past population estimates and projections are available on request from the Information and Research Team.
The latest report, 'Population Matters' (528KB PDF) examines past, current and projected change in the population of Dundee City and related matters.
The About Dundee (1.7MB PDF) booklet is also available.
Population Trends 2000 (1MB) provides previous analysis of population change in Dundee.
