Structure Plans

Structure Plans provide a strategic development context through policies and proposals for a variety of land uses. The current plan within which the Dundee City Council area falls is the Dundee and Angus Structure Plan, approved by the Secretary of State for Scotland in 2002 This Plan also covers the administrative area of Angus Council and details can be found here.

The Structure Plan is to be reviewed and replaced by a Strategic Development Plan covering the areas of Dundee, Angus, Perth and Kinross and North Fife. The review commenced in 2009 and is being undertaken by the TAYplan Strategic Development Plan Authority. Their website can be found at www.tayplan-sdpa.gov.uk
