The Support Services Department is one of Dundee City Council's central support departments. Its aim is to help ensure the delivery of cost-effective and efficient services across the Council.
The department is split into 3 divisions. The Administration Division deals with such things as the Committees, Corporate Customer Services, Elections and Registration of Birth, Deaths and Marriages.
The Legal Division provides advice, guidance and representation to the Council, its Committees and all Departments on all legal matters and deals with Archives, Freedom of Information and Data Protection. The Depute Chief Executive (Support Services) is also responsible for the operation of the District Court.
The Architectural Services Division provides support and advice to the council on architectural matters such as Energy Advice Building Costs and Project Management.
