Dundee Burgh Laws 1551-1694
This transcript of an original manuscript series of extracts of the Burgh Laws was made by Innes Duffus, Archivist to the Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee. The manuscript is kept in the rare books room of Dundee Central Library, while the original council volumes from which extracts were made are kept in the City Archives. The volume was commenced in the early 16th century and then appears to have been used as a commonplace book up to the early 18th century.
