Housebound Library Service

The Housebound Department provides a library service for readers who are unable, due to illness or infirmity, to make use of library facilities.

City wide services are provided by the Housebound Department, which operates on a three weekly rota providing customers with books, talking books and books in Braillie.

Staff will establish the readers likes and dislikes and make a selection based on their preferences, which will then be delivered to their home. Staff can also provide information regarding other Council Services.
