R.I.G.H.T.S. RESPECT: Children and young people have a right to be treated with respect, dignity and not to be discriminated against in any way.
INCLUSION: You have a right to be included in all aspects of your life. You should be included in any plans or decisions made about you. You have a right to have your views expressed.
GROWTH: You have a right to services to help you grow or develop physically, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually and educationally.
HEALTH: You have a right to good quality health care and for those who are looking after you to pay attention to your health needs.
TRUST: You have a right to earn the trust of all people around you and to have support in forming trusting and honest relationships with adults and young people.
SAFETY: Arguably, the most important right you have is the right to be safe wherever you are living and in every aspect of your life. |
