Celebrate the best of Dundee's City Centre Businesses!

The retail spotlight shone down on Dundee City Centre last night for the sixth annual DD One City Centre Retail Awards. Now a firm fixture in the Scottish retail industry calendar, the very best business talent was showcased at the prestigious ceremony in the Dundee Rep Theatre as top stores, businesses and eateries went head to head to win one of the coveted accolades.
The DD One City Centre Retail Awards in Association with Tay FM – nominated by consumers and designed to celebrate the excellence and recognise the development within Dundee’s diverse retail, leisure and business sector – took place on Sunday 12 June. The Oscar-style event was even bigger and better, with new categories added to the mix. And, after a glittering cocktail and canapé reception which saw the great and the good of Dundee city centre businesses attend, the winners were finally revealed.
Hosted by acclaimed comedian Craig Hill, eight businesses across the city centre walked away with one of the coveted accolades, following months of tough deliberation by the panel of judges who included Stirling City Centre Manager Andy Kennedy, Director of the Scottish Retail Consortium Fiona Moriarty, University of Abertay Dundee Marketing Lecturer Jason Turner, and Russell Walker, Senior Lecturer for Professional Cookery at Dundee College.
