Development Management and Building Standards

Development Management is a service provided by the Council, and indeed by all Councils in Scotland, and relates to the processing of planning and related applications under the Planning Acts. It also involves the enforcement of planning control and the administration of the Council’s case when appeals against its decisions are submitted to Scottish Ministers.
