The Estates Division of Dundee City Council’s City Development Department comprises a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in management, maintenance and valuation, all working towards the common goal of creating and retaining as many jobs as possible in the City of Dundee through ensuring the sufficient provision of land and property.
Strategies have been successfully devised and implemented for increasing the amount of investment and employment opportunities in the city, with start-up businesses, inward investment and indigenous companies of every size benefiting from the Council’s extensive portfolio of industrial properties. The Council can also assist in the provision of industrial and commercial land and development of advance factory units.
The Estates Division is also responsible for compiling monthly property registers which provide up-to-date information on all vacant industrial, retail and office property and land within Dundee and can assist locating companies to find the right property either from within the Council’s own portfolio or elsewhere.
The information contained in the vacant property registers is now available on the Internet and can be accessed by means of the Land/Property Search.
