Across Dundee there are a wide range of Community Based Adult learning opportunities taking place at different times and venues targeted at anyone interested in taking up learning.

You may wish to:

  • Develop new skills
  • Brush up on existing skills
  • Take up a hobby or new interest
  • Meet new people
  • Get involved in your local community
  • Improve your chances of getting a job or looking for a new job
  • Gain a qualification
  • Explore new topics

Whatever your reason there are opportunities available and you don't have to have existing qualifications to take part, in fact we see this as your chance to re-discover learning and make learning a fun experience.

Adult Guidance

All our staff provide advice and information to help you make the correct choice, look at what support you need, where you want your learning to take you and discuss the different opportunities available.

Community Based Adult Learning Partnership

This partnership brings together the main learning providers to offer a wide selection of learning opportunities in local communities, these vary from tasters to certificated courses. For example: Child Care/Development, Introduction to Counselling, Psychology, Criminal Psychology, Sociology and Healthy Eating etc.

How can I find out more?

After a chat with a member of staff you will be able to decide what best suits you. Groups run in the evening and during the day, creche can usually be provided and the atmosphere is friendly and informal. if you are interested in finding out more contact your local community centre or library or:
