The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is an accreditation scheme available to all young people between the ages of 14 and 25, regardless of background or ability.  The scheme offers opportunities for personal achievement, adventure, widening of interests, and community and social involvement.

There are three levels of Award; Bronze, Silver and Gold, each with progressive amounts of involvement.  These levels can be undertaken in order, or participants can enter directly to the Silver or Gold level if willing to commit to a slightly longer involvement.

Dundee City Council acts as a Local Operating Authority for the Award.  The team who oversee the running of the scheme are the Accreditation Team who can be contacted at the following address:
