Dundee Contract Services is a contracting arm of Dundee City Council, which is regularly successful in competing with private sector companies to provide quality building services covering all building craft trades from joiners and electricians to blacksmiths and tile-layers.  In addition, the Land Services divsion maintains the City's open spaces, including its trees and urban woodlands.

With excellent project management skills and resource planning, we can undertake cyclical maintenance, grounds maintenance, new build works, repairs, upgrades and modernisation for buildings of any type and use.

We project manage, plan and undertake more than £5m of major contract works and around £1.5m of minor contract works each year. This includes large scale heating installation and electrical rewiring projects and window and roof replacement programmes.

Engaging in small and large contracts involving traditional and specialist works, Dundee Contract Services is committed to meeting customers' needs and expectations through a comprehensive and flexible service and has recently made significant investments in the areas of Communication and Information Technology to support this commitment.

Experienced in partnership working, we make use of construction industry Key Performance Indicators to benchmark performance and assist in identifying areas for improvement.

To enable us to provide a quality building service to the community, Dundee Contract Services has established and will maintain a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001.
