Audit of Best Value and Community Planning
All Councils in Scotland are being audited to check that they are organised to deliver best value services. Dundee City Council's audit in 2005 highlighted a number of areas in which the Council was seen to be performing well. The audit also identified areas for improvement, and a plan to tackle these is now being implemented.
