DUNdee Co-ordinated
Anticrime Network

Dundee Safer City Centre Initiative
A significant proportion of crime and disorder takes place in town centres. Town centres set up schemes to reduce crime and the fear of
crime for mutual benefit. These schemes work well independently but more successfully when there is momentum to keep them going.

Initiative Aim
To make Dundee City Centre a safe and secure environment where people can live, work and socialise without fear of becoming a victim of crime.

Little and Lost
One of the most worrying aspects of shopping with young children is that they get lost.

DUNCAN's Little and Lost scheme has been running for several years, but in 2008 we are joining up with the nationally recognised Child Safe Scheme to make Dundee even safer for kids.

Child Safe aims to repatriate lost children with the minimum of fuss.
