Are there elections on the 3rd of May 2007?
YES. Elections for all Dundee City wards and to the Scottish Parliament will be held. There are more details on the Overview Page.
What is the Electoral Register?
The electoral register is the list of everyone who is registered to vote. You must be on the register to vote at elections. You are not automatically registered, even if you pay Council Tax. You can register to vote at any time, but you must register by 18th April 2007 to vote at the elections on 3rd May 2007.
Who can register to vote?

Anyone 16 or over (but you cannot vote until your 18th birthday).

British or Commonwealth citizens.

Citizens of the Irish Republic or other European Union (EU) countries.

How do I register to vote?
If you are not registered or if you have recently moved house you can make an application to register.
