Play on Wheels (POW) is a mobile play service in the City of Dundee, for children aged between 5 and 13 years old.

Funded by Inspiring Scotland's Go Play Fund, POW delivers free play sessions.

POW is dedicated to allowing children to follow their own play ideas and interests in their own way; and provides the opportunities, resources and a space for play, and guidance if needed.

The POW vehicle travels to schools for the POW in schools programme and to parks and open spaces for drop in sessions.

POW aim to work outside the POW vehicle, providing a combination of natural, scrap and manufactured play resources as the raw materials for children to develop and stimulate their own imagination.

Inside the vehicle there is a craft area, hand washing facilities, internet access and even a Wi Fit for really bad weather.

Find out more about Play on Wheels on their website here.

POW is jointly managed between the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries and Working on Wheels.
