Ig Nobel Awards Show @ University of Dundee, Dalhousie Building
This hugely entertaining show visits Dundee for the first time. It honours achievements that will make you laugh and then make you think. Featuring Marc Abrahams, organiser of the Ig Nobel Prizes and Guardian columnist, together with a gaggle of Ig Nobel Prize winners who will tell you of their amazing discoveries including a life-saving bra, why you should never turn your back on an ostrich and a penetrating medical report in to the injuries that pain sword swallowers! Marc will review the past years improbable research and several Ig winners and colleagues will try to explain what they did and why they did it, and will answer your questions. Tickets are free but booking is required so please contact at the details below.
