Single Person Discount - What is a single person discount?

The full Council Tax charge assumes that there are two adults living in the property.

If only one adult lives in the property (as their main home) the bill may be reduced by 25%, this is known as a single person discount.

Details of any discount awarded will be indicated your Council Tax bill.
