Making it easier to pay your Council Tax
As part of the Council’s commitment to improve services, we have introduced the Council Tax Payment Card. The card has been issued to all domestic customers who would have previously received a demand/payment book containing payment vouchers.
Using the payment card is easy. Simply hand the card to the cashier advising of the amount you want to pay and a receipt will be issued on completion of payment.
Payments can be made at any of the Council offices listed below as before as well as at Post Offices (now at no charge). Additionally, it will now be possible to pay at outlets displaying the above symbols. Pay Points are normally located at supermarkets, newsagents and garages and are often open late into the evenings and at weekends, increasing the ease and flexibility with which you can pay.
You can also pick up a leaflet at any Council reception area.
