What should you refer to the Fraud Unit?

- People who you think could be on benefits, who have a working partner residing with them and you have reason to think that they are not declared as part of this household
- Any information you are told regarding people not declaring income on their benefit application forms
- Situations where people who you think could be on benefit seem to have a lot of money or material goods
- People boasting about defrauding
- Anything you think might be worth referring
The Fraud Unit would rather get a lot of referrals that are subsequently found not to be linked to a fraudulent benefit claim than not get these and possibly miss one that is!
