Dundee has a diverse and interesting built heritage – everything from townhouses to tenements and bridges to bandstands, and all representing part of the city’s rich history. The Council have a role in the protection and enhancement of Dundee’s Historic Built Environment – the City Development Department does this in a number of ways:
