Hilltown - Public Services and Resources

In Hilltown, there are two public libraries within and on the edge of the area at Coldside and Central offering a range of resources and services. As well as the usual books, videos and CDs available to borrow the facilities offer learning opportunities, children's homework clubs, holiday activities and internet access, to name just a few. Click on the image at the top right-hand corner to view a map of the area.
The Highwayman Youth and Community Centre located on the Hilltown offers a range of activities including youth clubs and children's work, adult learning, health information and a job shop.
Bruce Street Child and Family Centre is a Social Work Department resource providing support for parents and young families.
There are four local primary schools which service the area of which two are denominational, they are Dens Road, Rosebank, Our Lady's and SS Peter and Paul primary schools.
