Hilltown - Private and Voluntary Services and Resources

The Hilltown has a number of voluntary projects which provide local services such as:

  • The Haven locally managed charity providing confiential mental health support
  • Mark Henderson Centre - providing a base for Signpost International and halls for community use
  • Greylodge Settlement - locally managed project providing youth projects and accommodation for local groups and space for "surgeries" delivered by others
  • 5 Ways Centre (Age Concern) - locally managed charity/day care providing accommodation for local groups and space for "surgeries" delivered by others also Dundee Healthy Initiative have a local base there
  • Maxwelltown Information Centre - locally managed trust providing accommodation for local groups and space for "surgeries" delivered by other agencies
  • Get In Step - providing training opportunities for long term unemployed
  • Carolina Trust - providing training opportunities for young vulnerable people
  • Fitness First - a private sports and gymnasium club
