Residential Project - Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Gold Award Only

During the residential you work on a purposeful project in an unfamiliar environment with people you don't know. It gives opportunities to work in a team, develop communication skills, increase self-confidence and have fun.

Residential Projects last for a minimum of five days (4 nights away) and fit to one of the following:

  • Conservation or environmental work
  • Service to others
  • Activity based
  • Personal training

Recently Dundee participants have assisted with the running of summer playschemes, worked on a steam railway and some have even ventured overseas.

There is no set list of activities in this section - just think of something you'd like to do and we'll help you find it!
