The Aim:

"To encourage the discovery and development of personal interests and social and practical skills".

The Award requires individual progress and sustained interest over a period of time, leading to a deeper knowledge of the subject and the attainment of a reasonable degree of skill. Each skills has its own guidelines, a copy of which is available from the unit leaders.
