West End - Soft Statistics and Funding Allocation

Dundee South West has always had a relatively affluent population with very limited pockets showing a degree of disadvantage.

Current census information and mid-year estimates indicate that no postcode areas within the three city council wards which make up the Dundee South West area show levels of disadvantage which would put them in the worst 15% across the country. As such, the area is not eligible to receive nationally allocated Community Regeneration Funding.
