Mrs Armitage is the average dotty old woman. She feels her bike is an old piece of metal, and funks it up so much it falls to pieces - by Nathan

This book was about a sweet shop that was turned into a window cleaners and then closed and turned into a sweet shop again. It was a great book. I would give it 10/10.

This book was OK. I would not recommend it to my friends and I don't really have a favourite part because it wasn't that good - by Caitlin

Ellie's mum goes to an art class and starts bringing ugly art home. She brings a vase home and they put a lottery ticket in it then they can't find it. Can the cat get the family to look in the vase …? - by Lisa

The Alex Rider series is an exciting series of books by Anthony Horowitz. The first one has been made into a movie (Stormbreaker). There are seven books in the series. I think the new one, Snakehead, is the best but Stormbreaker was good too. I like the way that he makes them interesting from the start. I think they are all round good books.

Bye Alex Rider - you're never too young to die!

By Gregor age 10

The book is about animals around the world including the Queen Alexandra Birdwing Butterfly, the Narwhale, the Kookaburra and lots, lots more!

I liked it because you get to learn about lots of animals and find out about new ones. It is very interesting.

By Caitlin age 10

This book is brilliant. I would definitely recommend it to people. I like the main character, Jane Blonde / Janey Brown because she is a super-spy - by Caitlin

I liked this book because it had a great story line. It was about a boy who had been run over by a van and he was in a coma. Robbie (the boy that got run over) was telling the story. Robbie's parents try everything to wake him up but even Zola didn't work. I liked the newspaper cuttings because it made it more realistic - by Martin

Red eyes at Night is about a girl and her cousin. She does not like her cousin so she tells her that there is a ghost in the shed. In the end she gets a scary surprise of her own - by Lisa

This is a really good book about a cat and a girl in World War II. They have to be evacuated but Adolphus Tips goes missing. I don't want to give too much of it away, but I really liked it. I think you should read it if you haven't already - by Caitlin.

I thought it was brilliant, I would so tell my friends about this book. I think it was a good book because the author wrote as if he was a child - by Rachel.

This was an OK book. Some stories were good but others were not that good. My favourite story was Water, Water, Water when a man needs water and he passes lots of tie stalls and when he gets to the nearest town, he can't get in because he needs a tie - by Lisa

I have read lots of the My Story books.

My favourite one was The Great Plague. It was about a girl who had an aunt who died during the plague. It tells all about her family, her life, the Great Fire of London and how she tried to get into Woolwich to get away from the Plague but was turned away at the gate. My other favourites are Mill Girl, Slave Girl and Mayflower. I think that it is the best series of books.
