Credit crunch, recession, down turn - all phrases that mean the economy is in a bad way. It could be job security, debt, mortgage problems or savings protection but few of us are now unaffected by the current financial problems. Although we can't do anything about the large scale economy, we can take steps to put our finances in order.

Jobs and Careers Advice, Travel Schemes and Freecycle. Why not have a look and see if you can get a bargain? - Things to do and Activities
Suggestions on ways to spend your leisure time and some are even free!
Additionally, your local library has an extensive range of materials, much of which can be borrowed free or for a small fee. You can also log on and get free computing in the Library - and many have a free Wi-Fi service. Computer 'Taster' sessions are free. Ask staff for details.
