We can all do with help and advice when it comes to managing money and it's even more important to seek guidance when we're having problems. These web pages try to focus on what we can do to help ourselves and our finances.

As a starting point take a look at the following guide which covers available resources for people in the Dundee area.

Benefit, Money & Debt Advice Services in Dundee (152KB Adobe PDF)

Debt

If you have problems with debt or owe money to anyone then don't put things off. Deal with it as quickly as possible and explain why you're having problems. Doing so will give you more options as you try solving your financial difficulties.

Benefits

Reports continue to tell us that many people aren't claiming what they should be. Make sure you're getting all available benefits by using the online benefit calculator as an indication of what you could be receiving.

If you're a single parent then extra help may be found on the Gingerbread web page.

Money

Requiring help with money problems shouldn't make you feel embarrassed - everybody has them. The next few pages can help you deal with them without becoming overwhelmed.
