Arts Advocacy Project
The Arts Advocacy Project, part of Dundee Rep’s celebrated Community Company, has been running since 1997. The ground-breaking Project provides art based advocacy activities for local people with experience of mental health difficulties. It works in partnership with local organisations such as Little Wing, Luna, NHS Tayside, Social Work Departments and Mental Health Associations.

..

The Arts Advocacy Project offers participants opportunities for self-expression and empowerment through quality creative work in a range of art forms. The project has supported the creation of many innovative works including a number of books, a show at Dundee Rep, a mosaic sculpture and recently a week long residency at Liff Hospital, which culminated in the public viewing artworks in a ward setting.
