Enquiry Service
The staff at Mills Observatory are happy to deal with telephone or personal enquiries during opening hours, and written/email enquiries at any time. Common enquiries include provision of sunrise and sunset times, reports of astronomical and atmospheric phenomena, and of course, bookings for group visits.
Group Visits
Groups are welcome to visit the Observatory at any time during opening hours. Special visits incorporating a Planetarium Show, and observing with the main telescope (weather permitting) can be organised for a small fee.
Lecture Room
The room can seat up to 40 and audio-visual equipment can be made available. Please ask for details.
