All data for the scheme will be collected and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Under the terms of the Data Protection Act where personal data is processed by Dundee City Council we must ensure that the following information is made readily available to you:

• The identity of the data controller is Dundee City Council
• The Data Protection Co-ordinator’s agent for the Dundee NEC and Dundee Discovery Card Schemes is:

• We will mainly use your personal data to administer the Dundee National Entitlement Card / Dundee Discovery Card schemes e.g. processing applications, issuing cards and dealing with enquiries such as lost and stolen cards. However, as part of a multi-owner, multi-application smart card scheme, we will also aim to improve the services that we offer by sharing information with other partners unless you have specifically asked for us not to share the information you provide.

  Dundee University
  NHS Tayside
  Travel Dundee
  Dundee College
  Scottish Government (SG)
  Agencies of SE
  Registrar General
  Other trusted and approved public service agencies may be added from time to time.

• Under the Act, members of the public have the right to see, and correct, any personal details that are held on computer.
