Paul Weller at Caird Hall

LOCAL fans of legendary singer/songwriter Paul Weller are in for a pre-Christmas treat when the award-winning performer hits the Caird Hall.

Weller will play the 2,300 capacity venue on Monday November 30, adding to the list of top names that will grace the Caird Hall stage in coming months.

The Caird Hall gig is one of 14 across the UK that Weller will end 2009 with, taking in towns and cities that he has not played yet this year.  With a CV that boasts a number one album "22 Dreams", a Brit Award for Best British Male Artist, a Mojo award for best album and sold out tours and festivals everywhere, Weller's Dundee gig should attract a lot of interest.

Tickets priced at £32.50 plus booking fee go on sale at 9am on Wednesday (July 8) at Dundee City Box Office to personal callers and by phone on 01382 434940 and online at Ticketline and See Tickets. There will be a maximum allocation of six tickets per person.
