How to Apply

Our online application form is the fastest way of getting your details to us. However, there are a number of ways you can apply for one of our vacancies.

You can complete an application online through the myjobscotland portal. Clicking on the vacancy title on the vacancy list will redirect you to the portal.
You can have an application pack issued to you by contacting the Council’s Human Resources Division by telephone or personal visit. The Division's reception is at Floor 3, 8 City Square , Dundee, DD1 3BG (telephone 01382 434065). Please quote the vacancy reference number.
You can download a blank application form to your PC. The completed document can then be returned to us by email to jobapps@dundeecity.gov.uk or post to the above address.

If you are at one of Dundee City Council’s Central or Community Libraries you can print off the job description and person specification for the job(s) and go to the reception desk for an application form. If printing is not available, just note the vacancy reference and go to the reception desk for the relevant paperwork. If required, you can contact the Human Resources Division on extension 4065 (using the free phone, where available).
Application forms and job descriptions are available from the Corporate Customer Services Team in Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, Dundee.

Please note:

For any queries you may have about a vacancy, the contact name and number in the employing department are shown on the job description which can be viewed on the portal.

If you are to be invited to attend for interview, then the employing department will contact you shortly after the closing date.
