Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee - Ref: WC0349
This photograph shows the north-east section of Magdalen Yard Road, leading up to Ryehill Church (then known as St John's, at the extreme right) and the Perth Road.
Most residences were placed in their own grounds, though these have significantly shrunk since the Ordinance Survey maps of 1861 were drawn. At that time, most had ornamental garden fronts.
The road remains cobbled to this day.
