Euclid Street/Euclid Crescent

closed westbound for 2 months with full closures for short durations (up to 48 hours) for major refurbishment works to D C Thomson building.

South Victoria Dock Road (West of West Victoria Dock Road)

closed for 14 weeks for drainage and associated Central Waterfront works.

Perth Road (Ninewells Avenue to Invergowrie Drive)

off-peak (9.30am - 3.30pm) - traffic control for 4 weeks for footway works.

Westfield Place (Roseangle for 30m north)

closed from Monday 2 February for 5 working days for Scottish Water repair works

A90 Kingsway (at Swallow roundabout)

overnight (7.30pm - 6.30am) alternate nearside and offside lane closures in both directions from Monday 2 February for 6 nights for trial hole works.

A90 Forfar Road (at Fintry roundabout)

overnight (7.30pm - 6.30am) lane closures with convoy working in both directions on Tuesday 3 February for road marking operations.

A90 Forfar Road (at Emmock roundabout)

overnight (7.30pm – 6.30am) southbound lane closures with convoy working on Tuesday 3 February for road marking operations.

Frederick Street (Lauderdale Avenue to Cloan Road)

closed northbound from Wednesday 4 February for 2 weeks for gas main renewal.

Charleston Drive (at Thurso Crescent)

traffic control for one week for carriageway works.

High Street/Nerthergate (Crichton Street to East side of Whitehall Street) and Crichton Street (High Street to underground car park)

closed from 6.30pm on Saturday 7 February to 7.00am on Monday 9 February for crane lifting works.

Forthcoming Major Roadworks

Shamrock Street

closed at Junction with Mains Loan from Tuesday 10 February for one week for sewer repair.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.
