closed westbound for 7 months with full closures for short durations (up to 48 hours) for major refurbishment works to D C Thomson building.

Emmock Road (at Harestane Road)

closed for up to 5 weeks for tree removal and verge works.

Perth Road (West Park Road to Grosvenor Road)

2 temporary pedestrian crossing points for up to 4 weeks for footway construction works.

Meadowside (Bell Street to Victoria Road)

off peak lane restrictions for 2 weeks for footway works.

Riverside Drive (Wright Avenue to Invergowrie)

off peak temporary traffic lights for one week for cycleway works.

Albert Street (Dura Street to Arthurstone Terrace)

closed south bound from Monday 8 February for 8 weeks for gas main renewal.

closed from Tuesday 23 February for 7 days for tree felling works.

Planned road closures and restrictions are necessary to allow for a variety of maintenance work including resurfacing and reconstruction as well as water, sewer, electricity, gas and telecom supply/renewal/maintenance works, etc.

It may be that the Dundee City Council is not responsible for these works.  However we have a duty to inform the public of any major situation which may arise – planned or otherwise – that may affect their ability to move about the city.  We have included here a listing of road closures and major lane closures or restrictions and the contact numbers for the main utility companies in case you have a query on any specific set of roadworks.

Please note the information provided is current as of the Friday prior to the report date and is subject to change at any time.  Any updates after publication on Fridays are indicated in bold.
