Most people, either as individuals or through friends and relatives will have contact with social work services at some point in their lives. We work with people when they need it most.

Our staff are there to support people through the difficult periods of personal and family crisis. Because of this, social work services have to be wide-ranging. More of these services are now in partnership with other agencies. Here in Dundee, this involves working with colleagues in Education, Health, Police, Housing and the Voluntary Sector. Along with our partners we are committed to delivering quality services which meet the needs of Dundee citizens in the 21st century.
