Mackinnon Centre

Respite care in a purpose-built centre in a pleasant seaside location

The Mackinnon Centre is a purpose-built 12-bed respite unit, set in its own grounds, close to Broughty Ferry beach.

The Centre is 5 minutes from a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, while sports facilities, theatres and larger shopping centres are all within easy reach in Dundee.

Although the staff do not provide nursing care, they are highly trained and have considerable experience in providing a service individually tailored to the needs of each person who stays here. Personal choice and dignity form the basis of care plans.

All meals are prepared in the Centre by our kitchen staff, who can cater for special dietary needs, if required. There is a large, spacious dining room, although meals can be served in an individual's room, if preferred. There are 11 single bedrooms and 1 twin. All have en suite facilities and TV. Other facilities include 2 sitting rooms, large gardens, and a bus.
