Skills Centre
Skills Centre for adults with physical disabilities or progressive illness
Physical disability, whether incurred through trauma or illness, often brings with it a variety of emotional and social needs as well as physical and mobility difficulties. Staff at the Mackinnon Centre encourage and promote the spirit of independence so that service users may regain confidence and self-esteem, whilst acquiring the necessary skills, knowledge and acceptance to cope with a much altered lifestyle.
The Mackinnon Centre is situated in the small but busy locale of Broughty Ferry, which is about five miles east of Dundee city centre.
Plenty to choose from - plenty to do!
The Skills Officers, who have responsibility for various skills areas, are highly trained and have considerable experience.
They can help you achieve your goals to the best of your ability.
