Approved Civil Marriage Venues in Dundee

The Council provides venues for civil marriage, civil partnership, naming ceremonies and renewal of vows at the Registrars Office at 89 Commercial Street, Discovery Room and Tay Room in City Square. Marriages may also be arranged for Broughty Castle, Baxter Park Pavilion and Mills Observatory. All public parks and open spaces within Dundee have also been approved for civil marriage. In reality, couples may now be married almost wherever they choose in Dundee. Many hotels etc. have applied for Period Licences to allow civil marriages to be conducted and couples may also apply for a Temporary Licence for a marriage at the place of their choice.
