Tay Valley Family History Society
Based in Dundee Tay Valley Family history Society is the main Centre for family history research in the Tay Valley area, (the former counties of Angus, Fife, Kinross and Perthshire).
The Princess Royal Trust Dundee Carers Centre
The Information Service provides information to carers, disabled people and other professionals on a wide range of disability and caring issues. Skilled and helpful staff provide local and national information about health, care services, housing, day services, home care, education, financial issues, holidays, legislation and much more.
This superb learning environment includes fully equipped seminar rooms for teaching information and IT skills, six group study rooms and the Centre for Language Learning and Self Study. A specialist legal library, jointly developed with the Faculty of Procurators and Solicitors, is further evidence of our close links with the local professions. Part of the building has been designed to operate 24 hours a day, combining IT and study facilities with a time-out area where students can relax.
University of Dundee Archive Records Management and Museums
ARMMS hols a number of local history collections which are accessible to the general public.
University of Dundee Book and Conservation Studio
The Book and Paper Conservation Studio is based in the Main Library at the University, and has been in operation since 1985. A complete service is offered for conservation of books, paper and paper-based collections.
University of Dundee Main Library
The Library has nine principal sites and the specialist Book and Conservation Studio. Staff and external members are welcome to use the Library's services. Incorpoarting Duncan of Jordanstown Art and Design Library and Gardyne Road Library.
University of Dundee Ninewells Medical School Library
An extensive range of resources relating to medicine, including nursing and midwifery.
University of Dundee Law Library
The Law Library is a branch of the University Library service, located in the Scrymgeour Building in Park Place on the main campus. It accommodates the legal collections of the University Library and a European Documentation Centre.
Volunteer Centre Dundee works with organisations who involve volunteers by giving them support, advice and access to training.
VONEF Voluntary Organisations North East Fife
VONEF is a Council for Voluntary Service (CVS). We aim to support and develop charitiable, voluntary and community groups in North East Fife in a variety of ways. We also aim to represent them at local and at national level.
