Zebra Crossings consist of thick black

on either pavement.
These Crossing give pedestrians the right
of way however they must make sure that all traffic has
stopped before they use the crossing.
A Belisha Beacon is
a tall black and white pole topped by flashing orange globe.
They appear on either side of the road at zebra crossings
in the United Kingdom.
They are named after Leslie
