Strategically located car parks around the Inner Ring Road provide around 5,000 parking spaces for shoppers, tourists and business people, all within easy walking distance of the city centre "Pedestrian Zone" shops. There are approximately 530 on-street parking spaces.

Disabled person badge holders may park free of charge and without time limit in any council car park or on-street parking bay. In addition, DUNDEE SHOPMOBILITY operates from the Overgate Centre. (for further information please phone 01382 228525).
I would advise that on street parking provision for motorcycles exists at the following locations:
- Whitehall Crescent
- South Tay Street
- Exchange Street
All of the above are free of charge.
The Dundee City Council car parks are generally not suitable for motorhomes. East Whale Lane car park is the most suitable but please contact 01382 432095 to make arrangements prior to parking. Note - you are not permitted to use the vehicle for sleeping, camping or cooking whilst parked in any Dundee City Council car park.
CCTV is in operation within the city centre and covers some of the car parks listed. Only service vehicles, at certain times of the day, are allowed through the "City Centre Pedestrian Zone". All other city centre through traffic must use the Inner Ring Road.
