Dundee City Council's Waste Management Department offers a comprehensive range of waste management services that can be tailored to suit all types of business and organisation throughout the city of Dundee. We have a proud record for recycling in the city and via our integrated waste disposal and recycling service, can offer business the opportunity to minimise their waste-disposal costs while maximising their environmental credentials by segregating their waste for the purpose of recycling.

Duty of Care

All businesses have a statutory duty to dispose of their waste via a licensed waste carrier. This is defined within section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, and is commonly referred to as the "Duty of Care".
