Special Waste - Fluorescent Tubes

Since the amendments to the Special Waste Regulations deemed this type of waste as 'SPECIAL', it is no longer acceptable to mix this type of waste with general waste and therefore must be segregated and disposed of separately.
At Dundee City Council we can provide a lawful, safe and environmentally friendly collection and disposal service for this type of waste.
We can provide a collection and disposal service whereby this type of waste is taken to our Marchbanks Depot where it is recycled via specialist equipment.
