Dundee City Council currently operates the following three Recycling Centres (formerly known as "Civic Amenity Sites") within the city.

• Baldovie Recycling Centre, Piper Street, Dundee
• Marchbanks Recycling Centre, Harefield Road, Dundee
• Riverside Recycling Centre, Wright Avenue (off Riverside Drive), Dundee

All three sites provide residents of Dundee with the opportunity to dispose of and recycle a range of household waste free of charge.

Traders wishing to use any site for disposal of commercial waste must purchase a disposal ticket before visiting the site. Disposal tickets can be purchased from the Waste Management Department offices at Marchbanks Depot, 34 Harefield Road, Dundee, Tel: 01382 432777.

Skips are provided at each site to accept general/mixed and bulky waste. However, for the purpose of recycling, separate bins/containers for specific recyclable waste types are also provided at each of the sites. Householders and businesses are encouraged to segregate their waste and use these facilities whenever possible.
